Learn the correct words and their meanings

• Penultimate and Ultimate

these have the same root word .i.e. ultimatus which means come to an end

Penultimate means not the last, but immediately before the last . We booked a moped for the penutimate day of holiday.

Ultimate means last ,end. Complete armament was the ultimate goal of the conference.

• Perspective and Prospective

Perspective means a particular attitude towardsor way of regarding something; a way of regarding something. His fathers death gave him a whole new perspective on life.

Prospective means likely to happen, expected or expected to be the specified thing in the future. Bihar seems to have prospective investment.

• Plane and Plain

Plane means a vehicle that flies in air, has wing and atlest one engine. It is normally quicker to take the plane than the train

Plain means easy to see or understand. It was plain to see that they liked each other a lot.
